Great Divide: Hercules

I’m throwing a lot of Colorado beers around but damn are they good.

Great Divide is an awesome little brewery down in Denver. They are almost universally loved out here. Hercules pours a nice amber color. Almost a red if one could be forgiven. Hops hit you pretty heavy on the nose and it continues into the first sip for sure. I’m not that big a fan of IPA’s in general and this one is a double IPA. But the balance of hops to malt is really great. It’s nice and juicy but also just bitter enough. And at 10% it’s nothing to shake a stick at.

3 out of 4 stars. Would buy the 4 pack.
