Elevation: First Cast IPA

It’s been a while since I’ve reviewed a craft beer that I really didn’t enjoy. I tend to pick them because I think I’ll like them. Judging by the other reviews on this one, I’m not alone on this one.

Pours a deep golden color with barely any head, this IPA smells like old hops. And it tastes like it too. There was nothing even remotely redemptive about it. I can’t find any subtle taste that I might enjoy. It’s just too bitter without being anything else to make up for it. Maybe diehard IPA fans will enjoy it but nobody else will.

.5 out of 4 stars. Would not purchase the mix pack because of it.
